An entrepreneur at heart, with almost 3 decades in end-to-end Legal Strategies & Litigations including ADR’s and other Commercial litigations, SOPs Formulation, IP, Media,  Multi-Million Dollar Commercial Contracts, Indirect Taxation, M&A, Negotiation, Compliances, and Due Diligence, enabling reputed organizations and start-ups to operate within parameters of the law, conduct themselves with ethics & integrity.

Shilpa has contributed several years in managing corporate legal affairs with a large business group in India, as corporate legal Head, in addition to being in a Partner position in various law firms, big 4 and also as an independent practitioner, during her career span has handled non-litigation including advisory, negotiations, compliance etc as well as litigation matters for more than 200 companies comprising of manufacturing as well as service industries. She holds strong credentials in conducting an entire range of civil, criminal, Indirect Tax and IPR matters with a remarkable rate of success in securing prayed relief.

Shilpa has won many awards during her Career span including Forbes, CCAI etc. She has been a speaker at various forums like FICCI, Economic Times Legal World, All India Industries Associations, Indian Merchants Chambers etc. She is an advisor to the members of Bombay Industries Association for more than 15 years. She was on the Indirect Tax Committee of Indian Merchants Chambers for more than 12 years. She has been a columnist for “Corporate India “magazine for many years now.
